Fracture Management

A bone fracture is a condition where the continuity of the bone is broken and it is one of the commonest injury sustained following trauma (fall, direct blow, road traffic accident, etc)

Treatment

Fracture management can be divided into non-operative and operative techniques. Treatment of hair-line or undisplaced fractures includes Bracing, splinting or Plaster application. (Non-operative techniques ) Severe or displaced fractures require surgery in the form of fixation( Operative techniques). Different fracture fixation modalities are used depending upon type and severity of fracture: Screw fixation, Plate & screw fixation, Nail (rod) fixation, External fixator application, etc. With the most advanced fixation modalities available in our setup, patients get the speedy recovery and near-complete functional outcomes.
